Nothing in the world beats the noise made by the beasts otherwise known as GT class (apart from superbikes, high performance road cars, F1 blah blah blah!
)
This is Fujimi's 1/24th scale Porsche 917K, commonly known as the "Batmobile" due to the rear wing arrangement.
Paint finish is Halfords (yes Halfords!) Bermuda/Light Blue
No real additions or extras, except for a cloth and photoetched part seatbelt.
This was Tamiya's 1/24th scale Canon sponsored car.
I have wired the engine (as much as my poor eyes could manage it)
This is the newest Calsonic Skyline from Tamiya. a lot of carbon fibre and photoetched detailing went into this, as you can see from the wheel picture.
Tamiya kit, 1/24th scale. Engine (partially) wired for effect, and the wheels "scrubbed" for the used car look. colour is TS-17 Gloss Aluminium.
I bought this by mistake! I was trying to get a R390 , and had a brain drain on Ebay! Anyway, the most interesting thing about this model is that all the colours apart from the base white are decals! Took me an age to do, and to be honest, not the best effort, and although I'm not 100% sure about it, it still sits in the display cabinet.And....... there is a driver in there somewhere !!!
Tamiya's CLK GT-R. This version is in the guise of Team Sportswear. I am, hopefully , getting the Team Original Tiele Version as well. The engine is semi plumbed
This was the model featured in the model diary...3 months down the line and I'm quite pleased with it,
I have to admit to you one thing though... I lost one of the driver names decals relevant to this car somewhere in the room, so I'm waiting to get a new decal sheet to completed that minor bit (unless I find it of course)
